Bao Bar, Heaton
Bao Bar is tiny – a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it kind of place. It’s found on Chillingham Road in Heaton (just outside of Newcastle) and is a small, walk-in bar offering steamed buns, small plates and pared drinks.

Thali Tray is an Indian street food eatery found at Arch2 Brewpub & Kitchen in Ouseburn (just up the hill from Ouseburn Farm/ The Ship Inn). I’ve visited at least three times, and it’s always been great. There you go, review done. Just kidding…
