After an eternal winter of closed hospitality, the light at the end of the tunnel seems in sight. As the weather brightens up towards Spring, there's the hope that if all goes according to the government's roadmap plan that outdoor hospitality will be able to open up from the 12th April. The August Eat Out To Help Out scheme has proved a winning combination for many restaurants, and some of them are not quite ready to give up on the discount deal yet!
One of my favourite days out so far this summer has been fruit picking at Brocksbushes Farm Shop & Tearoom! Although strawberry picking seems to be the most popular type of fruit picking at Brocksbushes, they also have raspberries, gooseberries, redcurrants and blackcurrants!
The best place to enjoy fish and chips is at the beach! We're so lucky living in the North East, as there are so many great fish and chip restaurants and takeaways that serve top quality fish and chips. My favourite is Colman's! Who have started to offer a click and collect service during lockdown and it's absolutely brilliant! So brilliant, that I've ordered from them twice within the last month!
