Just a quick little post. So, I had lunch at Vietnamese cafe Time Banhmi the other day and it was fantastic. It’s on Grainger Street, just a short walk from Monument Metro station, and it’s the perfect place to stop for lunch if you like Asian cuisine. I’m actually kicking myself that it took me this long to try it.
They serve sandwiches, rice boxes, noodle soups and snacks (like spring rolls). I got a rice box with sweet roasted pork and sweet chilli sauce (you get to choose your spice level). It was very tasty – which, with so many bland meal deal lunch options out there, really makes you happy.
The portions are generous. They have a few tables to sit at, but you can get food to take away too.
I can’t wait to go back. And with its city centre location, I have no one to blame but myself if I buy another supermarket meal deal for lunch. This is just so much better.
