On our last day in New York, we only had a few dollars and dimes to our name and we were trying to make them last! Then we decided to just treat ourselves before we boarded the aeroplane home with some delicious doughnuts from Doughnut Plant. We had heard that they were the best place to get doughnuts from, so we started the hunt for them.
We were amazed with the variety to choose from! With yeast doughnuts, cake doughnuts and filled doughnuts, we could have anything that took our fancy! I chose the triple chocolate cake doughnut, and MrJ chose the peanut butter & banana cream filled doughnut. YUM! They were absolutely huge! MrJ couldn’t even finish his, and that’s saying something as he has the sweetest tooth in the world…I’ve not actually met anyone who can top him in the desserts league!
The interior was quirky, with everything being shaped like a doughnut; whether it was the back of our chairs on the bench we were sitting on. Thank you Doughnut Plant for making our last day in NYC so delicious!
